About Author
John Wolf earned his AS degree from St. John’s University in New York City and a BA degree from Biscayne College in Miami, Florida. He received his masters degree from Nova University in Fort Lauderdale. He also completed a number of police academy incentive courses, including executive development and advanced executive development, kidnapping, hostage negotiations, core preparation, and testimony, child abuse, organized crime, Caribbean crimes, field training officer, instructor techniques, and more.
John served 30 years in the Broward County enforcement before retiring in good standing. He and his wife, Arlene Wolf live on the Florida coast.
My Thoughts
Wolf With A Badge by John Wolf & Arlene Wolf is about John Wolf’s journey as a police officer with the Broward County Sheriff’s Office. This book had me flipping through it like nothing. His journey was intense, to say the least, from the photos he sent in our emails that hadn’t made it into the book. To the courageous way he put his life in harm’s way to protect the people in his community. Eye-opening, a bit disturbing, and altogether captivating look into an officer’s career; what this man has seen, I do believe, would change anybody’s perception of the human race! Very good book if you like a real, true, graphic-at-times memoir. It was incredibly disturbing at times, so do prepare yourself for a very stark account of his reality!
