My Thoughts

This book is about an attorney, David Byrdsong, who was kidnapped as a child. He had no clue about this until one day he came upon a missing child poster with his face on it. This poster of a missing child had an age progression photo that looked just like him. But it had all sorts of information on it that made no sense to him, including the name, which was Leonard Goodwin instead of David Byrdsong. He had lived his life as David with his adopted family, as he was told his real family abandoned him at an airport. With the help of his girlfriend, Gayle, they went on a mission to try to figure out why he was listed as missing when the only family he had ever known was his adopted family & his biological family didn’t want him. There was a whole lot of craziness to find David! The story didn’t make sense to me as to why there was so much of a fuss over this missing person until the end.…
