Ivy and Konrad become fast friends as he’s a shoulder to cry on for her as she deals with her feelings. He’s also been through a bad breakup and has trust issues. Konrad is selected to go overseas for a hockey opportunity and the two stay in touch daily. They begin to have feelings for each other, but she’s worried about getting hurt. Can Ivy open her heart to love again?

Wishing on a Star in the City by Krysten Lindsay Hager A cute romance about Ivy Macomb, a teen film star who had her heartbroken by a boy named Ryan, a college football star. As his fame grew, so did his need for attention, which led to Ivy & Ryan breaking up. Ryan then moved on really quickly to another woman. While nursing a broken heart, she tried to move on but constantly found herself immersed in scoping out Ryan’s social media accounts, comparing herself to the newest girl that he posted about on his feeds. With the help of her uncle and a couple of other people, they supported her while she healed her broken heart. Motivating her to focus on her podcast that ended up winning her an award down the line. A friend of hers named Konrad showed interest, but she was hesitant to take it to the next level, as she was afraid to trust in someone again. He was also an attractive guy who plays hockey. Not sure if she wanted to deal with another attractive athlete toying with her heart. Read it to find out what happen with Ivy & Konrad.
