Amanda Nelson grew up in Maryland and moved to Arizona, where she attended ASU and currently lives with her husband and four kids. Both women are hopeless romantics, but Lisa-Marie also enjoys suspense novels, while Amanda’s second go-to genre is romancy. The duo review books on their socials, hike the Olympic National Park, and fight over the same fictional crushes.

Just What the Doctor Hired is about Jensen, a pediatric doctor at the hospital, & Miss Autumn, who cross paths while Autumn was working as a companion at Plus One. The employees at Plus One would pose as a companion or whatever the client needed at social engagements. Autumn worked for this company, along with being a booth attendant at Seattle ferries, as a way to put herself through college. The goal was to be able to pay her bills & fund college without the help of her fathers. She was studying to receive her bachelor of science in nursing.

Doctor Jensen Edwards, who worked in the pediatric department at the hospital, had just broken up with a girl he dated from work. While talking to coworkers, he made it seem he had already moved on & had a new girlfriend.

Finding himself in a bind he spoke to his friend who suggested Plus One , so he contacted them to get a companion for an upcoming event where he was being honored as one of the best doctors in seattle. Doctor Jensen Edwards & Miss Autumn hit it off right from the moment they laid eyes on each other.

Would Jensen be the man that would break her vow to stay away from men till she finished college? The way this book unfolded, it was as if you could feel their chemistry right there through the pages. Highly recommended!! Grab a copy here.
