My twin girls and I made chocolate-covered strawberries as a sweet treat last weekend. This was our first time ever doing it, and a double boiler should be used because when you melt chocolate in the microwave, it rehardens too fast. We tried it that way a couple of times, then used a bowl inside a pan full of water on the stove, which worked much better. Here is a photo

of some of the prettiest ones in the batch. The strawberries were juicy and large, so it was very easy to dip them once we figured out how to heat the chocolate. They were initially messy but so good. Here’s what we used to make them.
