Excerpt :
The most important part of writing this story now, after all these years, is me giving myself permission to write when I thought that I didn’t deserve to open up about my own issues, when so many around me had more traumatic stories to share.
I have felt guilty for dumping on others. I have felt brave for overcoming that guilt and doing it anyway, with the support of those around me. I feel scared and apprehensive about what the trauma therapy I will undertake will bring up for me, but I also feel proud of myself and excited for the positives that I know the future will hold for me now.
I have Complex PTSD, and I will be okay!
About the Author
Libby Hall is an everyday person who, through no fault of her own, stumbled across mental health very early in life.
With thanks to some wonderful professionals, she is now on a journey of self-healing, self-compassion, and strategies to help her throughout life’s journey.
This book is written solely to help others believe there are answers to their questions.

Unknown Truth is basically the recollection of the author’s family history what she can remember of it. As an adult also dealing with mental health issues like her Mother did, she’s going back through her childhood as she is living her life now. Starting to understand where some of the issues she’s been dealing with stem from. Accepting dealing with and changing is what she is learning how to do. As so many of us need to learn how to do. Throughout the book there are journal entries where she gets in-depth about periods in her life and childhood. The chapter called Self-Talk” was probably my favorite, as she is learning how to accept herself & realizes she is perfect just the way she is! If you’re into self-help books, it was a good read.
