Todays Wednesday Weekly Blogging Challenge from Long And Short Reviews is what Characters I would never want to meet…. I am a huge old-school Halloween movie lover. There are so many movie characters I would never want to physically meet cause of the genere I enjoy watching. Here is a few that i would never want to encounter.Jason Voorhees in the Friday the 13th movie, That mask, when it’s at the costume stores, still stirs up creepy feelings. I haven’t watched that movie in years and still feel some type of way about how terrifying he was. Ghostface From the Scream movies, his mask is so fricken scary, this is another one of those creepy characters that you will have chasing you in your worst nightmares. Chucky in Child’s Play, A colorful doll that is super sweet to you but turns crazy randomly. Yes, no, I am good. Pennywise from It. I do not like clowns to begin with, so one that preys on our most vulnerable and then, if bored, messes with adults by manipulating their reality. Not interested in meeting it. Leatherface from The Texas Chain Saw Massacre: This one is a movie I do not think you can ever forget. Leatherface’s skin mask is absolutely disgusting & terrifying; his antics are very disturbing as well. Basically, any character that wears a mask or in Pennywises case a face full of icky clown makeup is not of any interest to me whatsoever. Pennywise is a popular choice. I can’t even watch the Child’s Play or Friday the 13th movies. Such scary stuff. Thanks for sharing, Jen.

Now this is a list of characters no sane minded person would want to have tea with. Great choices. I love all those characters when they’re at home in their respective films. I don’t think I’d like to be anywhere near them in real life, though.

I like that masks (or for Pennywise, makeup) are kind of a through-line for your list. And as a fellow Watcher of Horror Movies, I salute these choices. It’s quite a list.

I don’t think there’s a single horror movie where I’d want to meet the killer as the killer in real life. There’s no way I’d be the final girl, as I’m not a girl and I’m not white
