“A highly readable book about the varied forms of social anxiety and its treatment . . . packed with practical tools to help readers overcome their fears.”

If you would like ideas on how to possibly overcome social anxiety. You have to check this book out. Basically this book is about overcoming social anxiety and reclaiming your life. This book resonates with me, as I have been shy since I was a child. Had a rough upbringing where there wasn’t much love or encouragement shown. It unfortunately morphed into pretty severe social anxiety that makes most interactions in person extremely difficult. Whether I had social anxiety as a child or it became an issue as I got older, I really can’t determine for sure.

Now on to the book. It helps you to understand where your social anxiety possibly stems from. Tips and techniques to approach the situation you fear. Tons of very good information on how to cope with it. My favorite part about it was the many included questions you could ask yourself to see if this or that applied to yourself. The chapter on kids and social anxiety was extremely informative, as I wondered about my own child because I suffer so badly with social anxiety. It is very in-depth in explaining how to relax yourself & reclaim your life.Really didn’t like how it kept referencing other authors, as I need all the dang books now!! It would be great for someone dealing with social anxiety or who has a loved one that is. If you would like your own copy you can purchase it here.
